Fancy a lively Sunday Brunch? Then head to Eataly’s Jazz Brunch
Eataly, in the Zorlu Center AVM, Istanbul, spans two floors, two terraces and 8000 square meters.
Eataly Istanbul is a food market, restaurant complex and an educational facility. It sells over 5000 products from Italy and Turkey, including cheese, olive oils, and fresh produce along with home products. It has eighteen restaurants that are adjacently located to the relevant produce areas. Pizza, pasta, and seafood are just some of the specialized eateries, all of them with open kitchens allowing diners to see their food being prepared. There is also a culinary art school where visitors learn how to prepare the dishes they’ve enjoyed.
Eataly is made up of various counters and restaurants, with various events throughout the week, one of these being the Sunday jazz brunch. Located inside the Portofino restaurant, it is a chance to sit back, relax, listen to some live jazz music and enjoy a wonderful brunch.
We recommend you order the ‘Coconut Caffé Freedo’, it’s an iced latte with coconut syrup that tastes like a tropical island. To eat, we love the ‘French toast alla romana’, consisting of brioche bread, cinnamon, ricotta cream cheese, forest fruit sauce and fruits on top. It’s a very big dish and enough to share between two.
Note: Eataly’s Jazz Brunch starts in September 2017.
